The Lisbon Exhibition and Congress Centre (FIL) is Portugal's largest events facility, offering world-class infrastructure for exhibitions, congresses, and international events.
Situated in the modern Parque das Nações area, FIL spans 100,000 square meters and features state-of-the-art facilities designed to host major international events. The venue is known for its distinctive architecture, excellent technical conditions, and ability to accommodate events of significant scale and complexity.
FIL opened in its current location in 1999 following the Expo '98 world exposition, marking a major leap in modernizing Portugal's event organization capabilities. The facility continues to operate as a leading event venue today.
The venue is located in the Parque das Nações area of Lisbon, Portugal, with excellent accessibility. It is just 7 minutes from Lisbon International Airport, 20 minutes from downtown Lisbon, and 2 minutes from the Oriente train/metro/bus station. The surrounding area includes prime locations with access to hotels, restaurants, and cultural and commercial areas.
FIL features an impressive array of facilities spread across its 100,000 square meter campus. It includes 4 pavilions of 10,000 square meters each, with 10 rooms per pavilion, and a multipurpose wood pavilion spanning 1,200 square meters with modern architecture. The FIL Meeting Centre offers 3 auditoria, 5 meeting rooms, and 2 foyers for events up to 500 people. The venue also includes a restaurant and parking facilities for 800 vehicles, along with cutting-edge audiovisual and IT equipment throughout the facility.
