Full-scale Lilium Jet model to be unveiled at EBACE 2024

MUNICH, April 30, 2024 — Lilium N.V. (NASDAQ: LILM), a trailblazer in the development of the all-electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) jet, proudly announces the upcoming public debut of the full-scale Lilium Jet model. This momentous unveiling is set to occur at EBACE2024, Europe’s leading event for aviation and advanced air mobility. The event will be hosted in Geneva, Switzerland, at Palexpo and Geneva Airport from May 28-30, 2024.

The Lilium Jet is engineered for exceptional capacity, low noise levels, and superior performance while maintaining zero operational emissions. Featuring innovative Duct-Electric Vectored Thrust (DEVT) technology, it is poised to redefine efficiency and accessibility in regional air travel. Production of the Lilium Jet commenced in 2023.

Visitors can explore the full-scale model at the Lilium Stand, conveniently located near the main entrance of Exhibit Hall 4-6 (Stand A39), marking Lilium’s most extensive participation at EBACE to date and establishing it as one of the event's largest exhibitors.

Sebastien Borel, Lilium’s Chief Commercial Officer, expressed enthusiasm about their return to EBACE, highlighting it as a pivotal year for Lilium. "As we approach the piloted flight of the Lilium Jet scheduled for later this year, our significant presence at EBACE, including the inaugural showcase of the full-scale model, marks a significant milestone in our journey," said Borel.

At EBACE2024, Lilium will also contribute to the discourse on future air mobility innovations. Andreas Pfisterer, Head of Flight Operations and Crew Training, will speak about the synergy between human creativity and aircraft design. This discussion, titled “Future of Flight – The Balance Between Technology and the Human Touch,” is slated for May 28, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Additionally, Sebastien Borel will explore the integration of sustainable aviation into broader transportation networks in his talk “Going the Extra Mile – Will Intermodal Transportation Expand Business Aviation?” scheduled for 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on May 30.
