Dr. Jan Michael Bosak serves as Head of Legal for the Irish aircraft leasing platform of China Construction Bank. His extensive background includes leadership roles at ALAFCO's Irish platform and senior counsel positions at Clover Aircraft Leasing Company Limited (formerly Ping An Aircraft Leasing). He previously supported Elix Aviation Capital Limited as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, helping scale the startup to a portfolio of 76 aircraft. His practical experience includes 32 aircraft arrests and repossessions across challenging jurisdictions. He holds a PhD, Master of Comparative Law, and Master of Business Law and Taxation from universities in Frankfurt, Adelaide, and Mannheim.
Matthew Gee, Head of Flight Operations, Six West
As Head of Flight Operations and company director at Six West, Matthew brings over two decades of aviation industry experience. He joined Six West in 2017 as Director of Operations, leading significant growth in the flight operations department. Jan Willem Storm van's Gravesande, Managing Partner, Aviation Independent Consulting
With 48 years of airline industry experience, Jan Willem studied Economics and Law at Groningen University and specialized in Air Law at Utrecht University. After serving as General Secretary and Legal Counsel at an international helicopter and fixed-wing operator, he spent 32 years at KLM in various functions. His final KLM assignment was General Legal Counsel at KLM Engineering & Maintenance, specializing in contract negotiations with airlines, lessors, and aircraft operators. He has lectured at universities worldwide and published over 75 articles on air law subjects.
Michael Bradshaw, Project Engineer, Charles Taylor
Michael brings 25 years of aviation industry experience, having worked for major airlines, airworthiness organizations, and engine leasing companies. His expertise encompasses aircraft redeliveries, pre-purchases, and mid-lease inspections across multiple aircraft types including Boeing 737, 757, 767, 747, and Airbus A320 families. With extensive engine knowledge covering CFM56s, PW4000s, CF6s, V2500s, and newer generation engines, he previously managed technical records departments at leading engine leasing companies, developing processes to ensure full asset value for clients.
