Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology Symposium
The Electric & Hybrid Aerospace Technology Symposium 2024 is scheduled for October 30 & 31, 2024, in Frankfurt, Germany. This event is renowned as a leading international conference and exhibition focused on ultra-low-emission aircraft technology and the prospects of full-electric flight. Since its inception in 2015, the symposium has become the primary gathering for high-level aerospace engineers, designers, leading research academics, propulsion engineers, aircraft manufacturers, and heads of electrical system design and engineering, among others interested in the future of aircraft technology.
The symposium will host over 70 expert speakers from around the globe who will share their insights and current findings. It expects more than 200 attendees, offering a valuable opportunity for two days of high-level networking and knowledge sharing. The event covers all aspects of aerospace activity, ranging from general aviation and eVTOLs to larger commercial airliners. Its purpose is to spotlight the rapid development of hybrid propulsion and electrical subsystem architectures, among other topics, focusing on the broader trend towards aircraft electrification and the challenges and opportunities this evolution presents.
The symposium will feature over 40 exhibitors, showcasing the latest technologies aimed at decarbonizing the aerospace industry in alignment with the ACARE 2050 goal of achieving climate-neutral air mobility. Key product areas to be explored include aircraft hybridization possibilities, commercial aircraft applications, eVTOL propulsion and aircraft design, battery and electric motor technologies, more electric aircraft for non-propulsive systems, and high-speed engine and turbofan technologies, to name a few
